German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains

The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) regulates the responsibility of companies to comply with human rights in global supply chains. This includes, for example, protection against child labor, the right to fair wages and environmental protection.

The law requires companies like Apleona to respect human rights by implementing clearly defined due diligence obligations. This applies not only to their own business activities, but also to those of their contractors and suppliers.

Apleona joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) initiative in 2017 and supports its ten universal goals, including respect for human rights. The UNGC is the world's largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate management.

In the Apleona Group, we have compiled all important information for all Apleona employees and the employees of our suppliers about their rights and possibilities to report human rights violations in our statement on the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
