Apleona is now an Alstom Alliance partner

Since the beginning of 2020, 200 colleagues reporting to ICC Key Account Director Lukas Funk have provided integrated facility management for ten Alstom railway technology locations in Switzerland and Germany. In 2024, the contract was extended by four years, until 2028. As part of this, the Key Account is seeking to expand the portfolio continuously and increase sales in the cleaning and security areas, in addition to focusing on technical services, which are provided with a high level of in-house expertise. The customer is clearly satisfied, having now included Apleona in its Alliance Partner Programme for first-class suppliers.

At the signing ceremony in Paris, Alstom's CPO (Chief Procurement Officer), Nathalie Saint-Martin, expressed her satisfaction: “We are proud to announce the signing of the Alstom Alliance Charter with one of our most important partners in facility management, Apleona,” she said. She described the partnership as ‘an excellent example of how shared values and teamwork can lead to smarter and more sustainable solutions’.

In return, Michael Engel, Alstom's COO, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in the company, thanking all the colleagues whose many years of excellent work had made this partnership possible. ‘Satisfied customers who publicly share their praise are the best confirmation of our work. Many thanks to the entire Alstom team,’ he said.

Denny Decker, COO at ICC, confirmed, ‘With our excellent Alstom team, led by Lukas Funk, we are eager to build on our inclusion in the Alliance Partner Programme and successfully offer our high-quality services at other Alstom locations across Europe.’Admission to the programme was preceded by a rigorous selection process. Alstom has set up a committee to evaluate and approve nominations for Alliance Partners. Composed of Alstom's senior management, the committee also regularly evaluates the programme's performance.
