Apleona improves from D to B
Apleona has risen from level D to level B in the internationally recognised CDP rating for 2024. This significant improvement in climate protection is transparent and demonstrates Apleona's commitment to environmental sustainability.
The CDP rating is an assessment from A to D awarded by the non-profit organisation CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) to companies, cities and states for their environmental performance and management. It serves as a benchmark for investors and stakeholders in terms of transparency and progress in these areas.
Since 2021, Apleona has participated in CDP reporting on climate-protection-related data, providing transparent, objectively verifiable information about its climate-protection strategy and CO₂ reduction measures. For 2024, it has now received a B rating from CDP.
'We are proud that Apleona has risen from D to B in this year's CDP rating. This is a clear sign of progress towards credible leadership in climate protection and high-quality disclosure,' said Constantin Moxter, Head of Sustainability at Apleona. The rating demonstrates that Apleona is taking coordinated action on environmental issues, proactively addressing risks, implementing tangible climate protection measures and providing transparent reports on its progress.
About CDP
CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) is a non-profit organisation founded in London in 2000. It publishes environmental data from companies and municipalities, including their climate-damaging greenhouse gas emissions and water consumption. To this end, the CDP collects data and information on CO₂ emissions, climate risks, and reduction targets and strategies from companies on an annual basis, using standardised questionnaires, on behalf of investors. The CDP now manages the world's largest database of its kind.
