“Diversity, equity, and inclusion make us more successful”
The DE&I policy establishes a binding framework that outlines the attitudes, goals and expectations of employees and managers alike. The aim is to foster an inclusive working environment where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. The DE&I policy creates the foundation for numerous initiatives at Apleona.
These include awareness-raising programmes and training, such as the 'Respectful Teamwork' workshop, mandatory DE&I training for managers, and other programmes for employees. Daniela Lehmann-Stein will be Apleona's Diversity Officer, overseeing DE&I activities across the group and acting as the central point of contact for all matters relating to diversity and inclusion.
'It is important to me that we embed the conscious promotion of diversity more firmly in our corporate and management culture. Companies that do so are demonstrably more successful than others. In this respect, diversity and inclusive action are important not only from a legal and ethical perspective, but also contribute to sustainable corporate success,” she explained on the occasion of her appointment.
Apleona has been a member of the Diversity Charter since 2008 and takes a clear stand against any form of discrimination. Openness, respect and tolerance form the foundations of Apleona, regardless of role, function or location.
