“We can all look back with pride on our success stories”

Before the Bavarian evening, themed #10YearsApleona, moved on to the more relaxed part of the evening with regional specialities and beer, Dr Jochen Keysberg welcomed the guests. He took the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Apleona over the years: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our clients and business partners across Europe for the great trust you have placed in us,” whilst emphasising that “ten years of Apleona stand above all for the many successes and achievements, both large and small, that our staff have delivered for our clients day in, day out over the past ten years, and which have made our company a market leader.”

He then looked back on the past ten years and ahead to Apleona’s future (see lead image) together with Rolf Buch (pictured below), the long-standing CEO of Vonovia and a member of the Supervisory Board for many years, as well as Roswitha Loibl, editor-in-chief of *Immobilienmanager* and an experienced host of industry talks. Prior to this, Rolf Buch delivered a brief tribute.

They described – spiced with a few anecdotes – how Apleona has developed since 2016 into one of the market-leading companies in Germany and Europe, how it has expanded over the last ten years with many new clients and has penetrated further market segments. The range of services and regional market coverage have also been continuously expanded, including through corporate acquisitions. In parallel with this growth, Apleona has steadily improved the professionalism of its services. Mr Buch, who delivered the tribute, summed up as follows: “Today, Apleona ranks among the thought leaders and technology pioneers of the FM sector in numerous fields, such as integrated facility management, digitally supported services and processes, and the decarbonisation of the building stock.”

Dr Keysberg summed up: “Looking back over the past decade shows that the often strenuous and challenging day-to-day work, as well as the constant striving for improvement and professionalisation, are worthwhile. That is why everyone at Apleona can look back with pride on their own success story.” At the same time, he said, it is typical of Apleona not to rest on its laurels. Rather, it serves as an incentive “to continuously develop our own performance, the team, the respective unit and, consequently, the entire company at the same pace, with the same motivation and the same professionalism over the next ten years, and to further expand the market lead we have achieved,” the Apleona CEO emphasised in conclusion.
