Privacy policy for applications
Apleona takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. Therefore, in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), we inform you about the collection, processing and use of your data in the context of e-mail applications.
Please read the following information and terms carefully before submitting your data to us.
Based on a job application submitted by you, Apleona will process the personal data that you provide to Apleona electronically for the purposes of the job application. Apleona will treat all personal data as strictly confidential in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and exclusively for the purposes of your e-mail application.
1. Data storage, use and deletion
The data and files you provide will be processed and used exclusively for the purpose of processing your e-mail application. If your application is successful, the data and files you provide may be further processed and used by Apleona for employment purposes.
If you are not hired following your application, your data will be deleted within 6 months. We reserve the right to store the transmitted data and files beyond 6 months in order to be able to offer you alternative positions based on your interesting profile. If we intend to do this, we will inform you in advance and obtain your consent.
Of course, you have the option at any time to withdraw your application in whole or in part or to request the deletion of your submitted data and files.
You can also request that individual data or files you have submitted to Apleona be deleted at any time as part of your e-mail application. However, Apleona reserves the right to store a limited amount of your data for a limited period of six months in order to comply with legal requirements, in particular the obligation to provide evidence under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
2. Transmission of data to third parties
Apleona will not transmit the data and files that you submit through the e-mail application to third parties (within the Apleona group of companies), unless you have given your express prior consent or there is a legal obligation to do so.
3. Revocation
You are entitled to revoke the declaration of consent to the processing and use of the personal data and files transmitted by you as part of the e-mail application in whole or in part with effect for the future. To do so, you can send an informal email to the responsible HR department (mein.job@Apleona.com) or to the Apleona data protection officer (datenschutz.FS@Apleona.com). Otherwise, the above-mentioned deadlines also apply.
4. Security
Apleona uses technical and organizational security measures (Art. 32_DSGVO) in accordance with the current state of the art to ensure that your personal data is protected against unauthorized access, such as loss, destruction, intentional manipulation or access by unauthorized third parties.
5. Additional regulation
In addition to this privacy policy for online applications, our general privacy policy applies.
