During your 3.5-year training as a plant mechanic (m/f/d), you will become familiar with heating, air conditioning and sanitary technology. You will learn how to set up, commission, maintain and repair supply systems and installations. To do this, you will work on pipes, sheet metal and profiles made of metal or plastic, both by machine and by hand. We will also teach you how to carry out new builds and conversions, installations and minor repairs, as well as how to process customer orders and diagnose and rectify faults. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will also be able to work confidently with technical documentation and construction plans.

Typical tasks of a trained electronics technician (f/m/d) for industrial engineering are the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems that are responsible for energy supply, production or communication, for example. As a mechatronics technician (f/m/d) for refrigeration technology, you will plan the components of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems, check what is the best economic and ecological solution under the given conditions and pre-assemble the individual system components. You will then install the systems at our customers' premises, e.g. lay pipes and coat them with heat-insulating materials, install the electrical connections and program the control and regulation equipment.

Creation of CAD drawings for heating, sanitary and ventilation systems
The fundamentals behind the precision calculation of the parameters and properties of building installations
Calculation of material requirements and the creation of BOMs on the basis of your drawings
Customised design of the technical “inner life” of a new or converted property

Training location: We train technical system planners (m/f/d) at our locations in Cologne, Essen, Berlin and Mannheim.

Training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) qualifies you for all commercial areas of our company. The tasks can vary greatly depending on where you work. When handling construction projects, you will work from the office or directly on site in the planning, implementation and monitoring of all commercial tasks. It is also possible to work in specialist areas such as accounting or human resources.

In this apprenticeship, you will learn about the tasks in the reception, housekeeping, service, kitchen, conference and events departments and thus all the processes of a hotel business. The tasks of hotel specialists include looking after guests, including check-in/check-out, accepting reservations, serving food and drinks and preparing invoices.

The Service Engineering course at the university focuses on electrical engineering, mechatronics, general business administration, project management, maintenance management and energy efficiency. During the practical phase, students get to know the diverse activities in facility management in various properties of our customers by supporting the property managers and technicians on site in the management of the properties. In addition, assignments in central company departments, such as tender preparation, purchasing or project management, are also an essential part of this dual study program.
