Apprenticeship

Are you ready to start your career after school? Are you open-minded, curious, resilient and eager to learn? Apleona offers students many qualified apprenticeships in technical and commercial professions.

During your 3.5-year training as a plant mechanic (m/f/d), you will become familiar with heating, air conditioning and sanitary technology. You will learn how to set up, commission, maintain and repair supply systems and installations. To do this, you will work on pipes, sheet metal and profiles made of metal or plastic, both by machine and by hand. We will also teach you how to carry out new builds and conversions, installations and minor repairs, as well as how to process customer orders and diagnose and rectify faults. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will also be able to work confidently with technical documentation and construction plans.

Duration of the apprenticeship: 3.5 years

Training location: Various locations throughout Germany, e.g. Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Munich, Berlin, Leipzig

Requirements:

  • Qualified secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate or a comparable school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss, Mittlere Reife or equivalent)
  • Good grades in math and work/technology
  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Sense of responsibility, diligence and reliability

You will train with us as a specialist (f/m/d) for electrical systems in commercial properties in a 3.5-year apprenticeship.
Typical tasks of a trained electronics technician (f/m/d) for industrial engineering are the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems that are responsible for energy supply, production or communication, for example.
Among other things, you will learn

  • branching circuits
  • calculating cable cross sections and fuses
  • laying wires
  • reading schematics
  • programming, configuring and testing systems and safety devices

As a mechatronics technician (f/m/d) for refrigeration technology, you will plan the components of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems, check what is the best economic and ecological solution under the given conditions and pre-assemble the individual system components. You will then install the systems at our customers' premises, e.g. lay pipes and coat them with heat-insulating materials, install the electrical connections and program the control and regulation equipment.

Duration of training: 3.5 years

Training location: Various locations throughout Germany, e.g. Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Cologne, Berlin, Munich

Requirements:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate or a comparable school-leaving qualification (Mittlere Reife or equivalent)
  • Good grades in mathematics and physics
  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Sense of responsibility, diligence and reliability
     

As a technical system planner (m/f/d), you will work on the realization of technical solutions and the ideas of our engineers. The implementation of our projects starts at your desk.

You will get to know the following areas during your training:

  • Creation of CAD drawings for heating, sanitary and ventilation systems
  • The fundamentals behind the precision calculation of the parameters and properties of building installations
  • Calculation of material requirements and the creation of BOMs on the basis of your drawings
  • Customised design of the technical “inner life” of a new or converted property

Duration of the apprenticeship: 3.5 years

Training location: We train technical system planners (m/f/d) at our locations in Cologne, Essen, Berlin and Mannheim.

Requirements:

  • A-levels, vocational baccalaureate or at least a good secondary school leaving certificate (Abitur, Fachabitur, Realschulabschluss)
  • Good grades in mathematics and physics
  • Precise way of working
  • Good spatial awareness and technical understanding
  • Confident handling of various PC applications, especially MS Office
  • Loyalty, independence and initiative
  • Completed internships are an advantage

Training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) qualifies you for all commercial areas of our company. The tasks can vary greatly depending on where you work. When handling construction projects, you will work from the office or directly on site in the planning, implementation and monitoring of all commercial tasks. It is also possible to work in specialist areas such as accounting or human resources.

You will get to know the following areas during your training:

  • Project costing and preparing quotations
  • Purchasing: ordering materials, order verification, invoice control
  • Financial accounting: accounts payable / receivable, incoming payments, bank transfers
  • Invoicing for services rendered

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Germany-wide at various locations, e.g. Munich, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, Essen, Berlin, Hamburg

Requirements:

  • Vocational baccalaureate or at least a good secondary school leaving certificate ((Abitur, Fachabitur, Realschulabschluss)
  • Good grades in German, English and math
  • Interest in numbers and business processes
  • Confident handling of various PC applications
  • Internships are an advantage
  • Loyalty, independence and initiative

In this apprenticeship, you will learn about the tasks in the reception, housekeeping, service, kitchen, conference and events departments and thus all the processes of a hotel business. The tasks of hotel specialists include looking after guests, including check-in/check-out, accepting reservations, serving food and drinks and preparing invoices.

Duration of the apprenticeship: 3 years

Training location: Darmstadt-Kranichstein

Requirements:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife, Abitur)
  • Good grades in German and English
  • Enjoy working in a team and have a communicative manner

During your training as a chef, you will learn interesting, varied and responsible tasks, e.g. the preparation and serving of food, the correct handling of (large) kitchen appliances or the correct storage of food and the application of the relevant hygiene and food regulations.

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Darmstadt-Kranichstein

Requirements:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate or a comparable school-leaving qualification (Mittlere Reife or equivalent)
  • Good grades in German and English

Dual study program

Training or study – can’t decide? Then just do both! Read up on the theory at university while putting your knowledge to practical use – the best of both worlds. Apleona provides a host of career opportunities through various bachelor’s degree courses as well as the opportunity to study and work abroad. The Service Engineering course at the university focuses on electrical engineering, mechatronics, general business administration, project management, maintenance management and energy efficiency.
During the practical phase, students get to know the diverse activities in facility management in various properties of our customers by supporting the property managers and technicians on site in the management of the properties. In addition, assignments in central company departments, such as tender preparation, purchasing or project management, are also an essential part of this dual study program.

Duration of the course: 3 years

Training location:

  • Option 1: Practical phases in the Rhine-Main region and theoretical phases at the Mannheim Cooperative State University, Eppelheim branch office
  • Option 2: Practical phases at our location in Leipzig and theoretical phases at BA Sachsen in Leipzig (degree course: Service Engineering)

Requirements:

  • A-levels or comparable school-leaving certificate
  • Good grades in German, English, mathematics and physics
  • High level of technical understanding and interest in the operation of technical building systems
