Our solutions cover the entire value chain - from creating transparency about energy data (e.g. via our energy management system Enerlutec) to developing long-term decarbonization strategies and specific optimization solutions, e.g. for automatic/AI-based energy optimization or energy bill control. Installing Green Building Infrastructure
The technical equipment of modern buildings and facilities is constantly evolving. Intelligent building technology to optimize consumption and reduce emissions is playing an increasingly important role in the operation of real estate under the heading of decarbonization. Complete decarbonization is an important goal that we should all work towards together. Sustainability Status Report 2023
Apleona published its Sustainability Report for the business year 2023 on October 11, 2024.
The report provides information on current developments, implemented measures and goals along the four pillars of sustainability: economic, social, environmental and governance. The report provides a comprehensive insight into Apleona's sustainability strategy and is aimed at all relevant stakeholders: Clients, investors, financial market participants and our employees.
In recognition of the international nature of our customers and our organization, the 2023 Sustainability Report is published exclusively in English.

Three proposals to accelerate decarbonization
Speaking on behalf of ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V., its Vice President and Apleona CEO Dr. Jochen Keysberg FRICS made three concrete suggestions for policymakers to better and more efficiently implement the decarbonization of the building stock: First, a clear, stable and reliable framework for investment in decarbonization must be created. Second, a strong economic signal must be sent through carbon pricing. Third, a focus on climate return is needed. This means promoting measures that have the best impact on decarbonization. One example is digital, AI-based control systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
