Social Responsibility
As a company, we benefit from good social conditions: a strong education system, stable political processes, a livable environment and social balance. As a responsible company, we want to play a positive role in shaping the future of society.Apleona as a good corporate citizen
Apleona considers the impact of its business activities on shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, subcontractors and other affected social groups (collectively "stakeholders") as well as on the economic, ecological and socio-cultural environment in which we operate. To achieve long-term, sustainable success, we must respond promptly to political, legal, economic, environmental, social and technological changes and developments.
This is our guiding principle:
In fulfilling our social responsibilities, we are guided by the four pillars of sustainability:
- Governance
- Economic Sustainability
- Environmental Sustainability
- Social Sustainability
The individual aspects of our value system can also be found in the following guidelines:
- the seven core topics on social responsibility based on DIN EN ISO 26000,
- the 10 universal principles of good corporate governance of the UN Global Compact
- the German Sustainability Code (DNK)
- the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
In organizational terms, the topic of sustainability is the responsibility of the Executive Committee, which is made up of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the three Chief Operating Officers (COOs). This illustrates the priority that Apleona attaches to sustainability.
Our governance documents
The Apleona Group principles on social responsibility, the annual sustainability status report and the progress report on the ten universal principles of the UN Global Compact provide an overview of the Group's position and activities on the various aspects of social responsibility.
The documents serve both to increase transparency within the Group and to enable shareholders, customers, suppliers, service providers, subcontractors and other affected social groups to obtain information about our activities in the area of social responsibility in a concise and comprehensible form.
